Chilly Paynes

Dave and Sonya took a road trip to the South. They stayed at a beach house in Alabama and came to visit us in Louisiana. We spent the first day seeing the sights in New Orleans and showing them the tourist places.

We had a sleepover with the kids while Dave and Sonya had a getaway at the Marriott. These kids seriously crack me up. Chloe and Reagan had so much fun playing dress up and Jackson loved playing video games with Kyle. We ate pizza, ice cream, stayed up late and took them to get beignets in the morning which was their favorite thing about LA since the movie with that black princess in New Orleans. 

Reagan didn't know how to focus the camera, which is fine because she's 4.

I loved their paintings. Good thing acrylic comes off the floors.

Kyle let his eyebrows grow out. This is why I call him cejas. 

The girls thought it was really funny.

And Chloe LOVED my hair extensions. She wants long hair so bad and was seriously so happy wearing these.

Reagan said she wanted to make me fabulous.

I think she could be my kid. We look alike. 

Saturday we took them on Brian Champagne's boat tour! This one was way better (sorry twins) because it was in April and that's when the gators came out of hibernation. We saw SO MANY. When you come visit me, do it in April. It's the best time.

Brian's tour is the best.

After the tour we stopped to eat at this local cajun place. It really wasn't for me but Kyle and Dave seriously loved it. Kyle and that crawfish. Blah.
